A Tenacious Advocate for Injury Victims

Ms. Chebat started at the firm as a law clerk while studying for the bar while working full time at Goldberg & Rosen. She prides herself on being hands-on and a vocal advocate for her clients. Jana takes every case and makes it personal; she feels her client’s pain and fights for them.

Ms. Chebat has extensive roots in South Florida, spending time and growing up in both Miami-Dade and Broward County. Ms. Chebat graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School prior to attending Florida International University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Ms. Chebat then obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University and began her legal career as a Paralegal before entering law school. 

Ms. Chebat attended law school at Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. While in law school, she clerked for Chief Magistrate Judge John J. O’Sullivan. Ms. Chebat also interned with a global corporation based in Switzerland, the Endress + Hauser Group. Ms. Chebat was an active member of the Danny and Mary Becnel Trial Advocacy program. Jana competed in the Southern Classic Trial Advocacy Competition, where she ranked in the top 5 teams.

Ms. Chebat is proud of the work she has done, and for the relationships she has with her clients. She speaks Spanish, is admitted to practice in Florida, and is a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
