Mr. Thomas is a skilled trial attorney dedicated to advocating for individuals and families in personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, and wrongful death cases. He currently litigates and tries cases at Goldberg & Rosen, P.A., bringing a wealth of courtroom experience and a proven record of success.

Before joining Goldberg & Rosen, Mr. Thomas served as General Counsel of Operations for one of Florida’s largest insurance companies, where he managed the trial department and served as chief trial counsel. In that role, he advised the Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Litigation on potential exposure and oversaw risk management in high-stakes trials. His experience on the defense side provides him with invaluable insight into how insurance companies operate—an advantage he now uses to fight for injured plaintiffs.

Legal Skill Forged in High-Stakes Trials

Over the course of his career, Mr. Thomas has tried more than 75 civil and criminal jury trials to verdict. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Palm Beach County, representing indigent clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to life felonies, including attempted murder, burglary, DUI, and stalking.

Mr. Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he served as President of the Award-Winning Trial Team, a member of the Moot Court Board, and an Active Learning Instructor for Property I & II. He also interned with the late Honorable Meenu Sasser of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

A Commitment to Clients and the Community

Prior to law school, Mr. Thomas graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Hospitality Management. While completing his undergraduate studies, he worked at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa in Jupiter, where he developed the service-oriented values that continue to shape his client-focused approach.

Beyond his courtroom work, Mr. Thomas is deeply engaged in the legal community. He current serves on the Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar, a Past President of the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association, a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and served as Co-Chair of the Palm Beach Bench Bar Conference 2025. In 2024, Mr. Thomas was honored by St. Thomas University School of Law with the prestigious Legal Luminary Award.
